We have been hosting "PESACH TIME WITH THE MANDELS" (formerly Pesach Time Tours) for fifteen fabulous years. This year we are so excited to be going to the beautiful Berkely Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park, NJ. We are planning so many new things from entertainment to wonderful lecturers. As always, the food will be non-stop and many new scrumptious dishes and fabulous decor will be incorporated. Every aspect of your Pesach vacation is planned to ensure a complete, pleasurable and fun experience for the whole family. Rabbi Chaim Block joins Pesach Time Tours for the first time this year as our Program Director.
Rabbi Block lives in Monsey, NY with his wife Toby and children.
He is a Musmach from the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, receiving semicha from Rav Shmuel Berenbaum, זצ"ל.
He is a 5th grade Rebbi at RYNJ (Teaneck community) and the General Studies Principal at Yeshiva Toras Emes, elementary division, in Brooklyn.
He is a member of the Jewish Music group Shalsheles and is a Chazzan at the AABJ&D shul in West Orange, NJ.
Rabbi Block has previously been a head counselor (Camp Manavu) and program director (Camp Romimu). He is looking forward to telling all of our guests where to go!
Chef Yosef Oldak, known affectionately as “CHEF YO” He is not a newcomer to the cooking industry, he has been pleasing palettes in various Five Star Pesach hotels over the last 25 years serving the most delectable dishes imaginable. Yosef is the owner and operator of Oldak Caterers, located in the Five Towns in N.Y. He caters elegant weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, dinners and weekend retreats. Yosef is sure to please every one in your family. Aside for catering, Chef Yo is the beloved Chef at Yeshiva Shor Yoshuv. He has been the head chef at Camp Dora Golding for the past 25 years. (Just make sure to leave your scale at home and pack a bigger belt!)

Day Camp Director
Rabbi Shlomo Hyman has worked in the field of education for 31 years and has been with the Pesach Time Tours family for the past 12 years. In addition to Smicha, He has a masters degree in Jewish Education. Rabbi Hyman has 22 years experience working in summer camps in both supervisory and administrative positions.
Rabbi Hyman lives in Englewood, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife Freidi and their five children.
Rabbi Hyman runs a fun filled and exciting program. Day campers will have their days filled with numerous activities, make friends and gather memories that will last a lifetime. Among just a few of the highlights are Rabbi Hyman’s spellbinding story time, special guest entertainers, and the “acharon shel pesach” camper performances.

Girls Teen Director | “Hit Hop” Dance Class
Atara Cohen is the Director of FIT KIDS/FIT TEENS in the 5 Towns. Throughout the year, she is not only in charge of the programming, and staffing there, but also gives multiple dance classes to children of all ages. At the women’s gym, called FIT, she gives a Hit Hop class, which is a high intensity dance class that incorporates planks, squats, etc.
Atara is an artist and dancer who is creative and friendly. She enjoys working with children of all ages, teens and adults. She cannot wait to meet and have fun with all of the guests!
Rabbi Ginsberg has been the menahel of Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalyim on the Lower East Side for over 18 yrs. He learned 10 yrs in Chofetz Chaim before coming to MTJ in 1982. He is one of the last people zoche to receive shmicha from R Moshe Tz"l. He was in Chinuch as a melamed for decades before accepting the mantel of leadership at MTJ. He also spent 15 yrs as a Reserve Chaplain (Rov) in the US Army. He has 4 Master degrees on many different fields of study. He is a former EMT & former Community Board Member for over a decade. And is currently the Clergy Liaison to the NYPD as well as the Chaplain at 2 different hospitals in NYC as well as an active member of the Queens Vaad – Chevra Kadisha for over 36 yrs.
Keira Eisenbeil has been working with children for the past eight years after earning her B.A. and her master’s degree in teaching from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Keira is a special education teacher at a local school in the Catskills teaching students in grades 1-6 with a concentration in reading and literacy. Her credentials have led her to be a Pesach nursery director and babysitting coordinator for the past seven years as well.The nursery is filled with lots of fun toys, books and a nap area. Young children, infants through three year olds, are able to spend time playing and being cared for while their parents are able to take advantage of all the activities Pesach Time Tours has to offer. Special care is given to each child to make sure their needs are met during their time in the nursery. Many daily activities keep the youngsters occupied, including story time and going to visit the playground. Night time babysitting can be arranged for children of all ages. Parents can breathe easy knowing their child are being well taken care of.
Working tirelessly behind the scenes for months before Pesach, --- will help all of our guests with their reservations. --- has years of experience in customer service and the pleasant phone skills needed to make sure all of our guests are taken care of with a smile.
She will assist you with answering all of your questions, making sure your rooms are exactly what you expect, and any amenities or special requests you may have are ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss
Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss was the Rov of the Agudas Yisroel of Staten Island for 36 years until his recent move to Lakewood, NJ where he opened up his new Shul. He is a musmach of the gadol hador Rav Moshe Feinstein ztl zya and is a world renowned orator and magid shiur. he has over 6000 shiurim on kol halsohon and almost 300 torah videos on torahanytime. He has taught girls seminary for over 3 decades and has lectured in hotels, especially on pesach for over 40 years. He has 5 published sefarim the last being Power Bentching a widely read book on understanding birchas hamazon. Rabbi Weiss gives special attention to the subject of sholom bayis and practicing yiddishkeit with passion and meaning. he will be joining us for most of yom tov
Rabbi Paysach Krohn
Rabbi Krohn is a world renowned lecturer and Mohel. He speaks on many topics including Simcha, Sholom, Chinuch, Churban, Chessed, Tefillah, Preparing Children for Marriage, Kiruv, Parnassa, Shalom Bayis, etc. Rabbi Krohn has led many tours through Europe and produced CD’s and DVD”s on “Yeshivas of Yesteryear”. He looks forward to inspiring us with his exciting stories and divrei Torah on the 2nd night of Chol Hamoed.
Rabbi Moshe Gruenstein
Rabbi Moshe Gruenstein started off with opening his own kiruv organization, Project Heritage.He inspired hundreds to come closer to Judaism and worked tirelessly for fifteen years before becoming a rabbi at the Young Israel of Bal Harbour. He served at Young Israel for 18 years before his recent retirement. A motivational and captivating speaker, Rabbi Gruenstein currently is back with Project Heritage and speaks regularly on Torah Anytime
Rabbi Avi Schnall
Rabbi Avi Schnall serves as director of the New Jersey office of Agudath Israel of America. In the eight years that Rabbi Schnall has held the position, He has served as Chairman of the New Jersey Nonpublic School Committee and sat on Governor Phil Murphy's Restart and Recovery Advisory Council as a member of the Social Services and Faith Committee. Rabbi Schnall is a dynamic and very sought after speaker. We welcome him back after a break of several years.
Rabbi Yitzchok Feldheim
Rabbi Yitzchok Feldheim grew up in Washington Heights, and is a graduate of the Yeshivos of Long Beach, Mir and Lakewood. Rabbi Feldheim has lectured for communities and campuses across the U.S. and around the world. He has spoken for students of almost every campus with a significant Jewish presence from Austin and Berkeley to Wharton and Yale. An expert in Jewish though and Philosophy, Rabbi Feldheim possesses a rare voice that is rooted in the yeshiva world but at the same time consistently inspires students in even the most secular and liberal institutions. With a specialty in controversial topics and in defending Torah in public debates. His classes leave listeners with a feeling of excitement at the depth of Torah and a feeling of calm in how everything fits together in perfect harmony.
Rabbi Yosef Gavriel Bechhofer
Rabbi Yosef Gavriel Bechhofer has served as a Rav, Rebbe, Rosh Kollel and teacher in the Chicago and New York areas. Rabbi Bechhofer is one of the few individuals to have served as Maggid Shiur for both Daf Yomi Bavli and Daf Yomi Yerushalmi, completing both. He has served as a writer and editor for Artscroll/Mesorah and has published numerous essays in major Jewish periodicals and journals. His published seforim are: The Contemporary Eruv: Eruvin in Modern Metropolitan Areas, Bigdei Shesh on Bava Basra, and Bigdei Shesh on Sefer Shoftim. Thousands of audio and video recordings of his lectures and shiurim (including the entire Talmud Yerushalmi) are available online (see his blog, rygb.blogspot.com, for links. He teaches at YBH in Passaic, monitors yeshivos for accreditation, teaches and lectures extensively in various venues and online, and serves as a Dayan on the Beth Din of America.
Dr. Shani Bechhofer
Dr. Shani Bechhofer is a senior consultant to principals, boards, programs, and philanthropists involved with Jewish day schools and yeshivos. She regularly lectures, presents, and facilitates at academic conferences, professional associations, and community scholar-in-residence events. Shani has been contributing to Jewish education for over two decades as a teacher, general studies director, menaheles, consultant, graduate school professor and researcher. Dr. Bechhofer currently teaches for Touro Graduate School of Jewish Studies and Torah Umesorah’s Principal Training Fellowship Program. Shani lives in Monsey with her husband Rabbi Yosef Gavriel Bechhofer and is a proud mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Sheva Abish

Rabbi Avraham Juravel

Considered an acclaimed expert in both ingredient analysis and food manufacturing and technology, Rabbi Juravel currently serves as the Orthodox Union’s Rabbinic Coordinator for Technical Services. His expertise and professional advice is sought by many Kashrut professionals throughout the United States and the world. OU rabbinic field representatives as well as rabbinic coordinators frequently seek his guidance and approach to many complex Kashrut issues. He has visited hundreds of food manufacturing facilities throughout the world including Europe, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, South America, Mexico, and the USA. Rabbi Juravel is married and the father of two children and has twelve grandchildren. He resides with his wife in Rockland County, NY.
Rabbi Moshe Kaufman
Rabbi Moshe Kaufman is the Executive Director & Kashrus Administrator for KVH Kosher ~ Rabbinical Council of New England. He oversees the Kashrus of close to 50,000 products, over 1,200 companies, in more than 20 countries around the world. His Kashrus expertise spans many arenas including wine/ grape juice, meat, beverages, baking and many others. He had the privilege of learning the intricacies of kashrus from many renowned kashrus experts including his father, Rabbi Shraga Kaufman, Rabbi Avraham Juravel, and others. Rabbi Kaufman studied in the US at Yeshiva Bais Binyomin- Stamford, CT and in Eretz Yisrael at Yeshivas Ner Moshe. Upon returning to the US, he joined the Kollel at Yeshiva Bais Yosef - Novardok, focusing his studies on Kashrus related sections of Yoreh Deah and Orach Chayim and received semichah from Yeshiva Bais Yosef- Novardok in 2014. While continuing his learning he began freelancing in the field of kashrus working for OU, CRC, & others, under some of the world's renowned kashrus experts. In 2016, he joined the team at KVH kosher as the Rabbinical Food Service Coordinator, developing a robust and professional food service kashrus program. In 2017 Rabbi Kaufman became the Executive director & Kashrus Administrator of KVH Kosher and continues to expand and develop even greater brand recognition for the organization.
